Alright, I am leaving this public so that all of my friends can see that I still exist. I sincerely apologize for disappearing. If you even remember who I am, then I will only say that my life has changed quite a bit over the last 61 weeks (yep, LJ just informed me that its been that long since I last updated!!!!). Anyhow, I may be in and out of here over the next few weeks, as I am going to use the private function as a record for myself for something, so if you see me here, say Hi and let me know how you're doing!

As for what I've been doing and all, here's the 60 second summary:

I still have the same job, same pets, live in the same house. I met a guy last June and have been dating him ever since. He moved in about 3 weeks ago, so far so good. I actually haven't watched WLIIA in months, instead, thanks to the writer's strike, I've become addicted to Law & Order: SVU. USA nicely feeds that addiction by playing it about 30 times a week. I'm still watching Medium, Bones (LOVE THIS SHOW), House, Heroes, CSI, Grey's Anatomy, Scrubs, Numbers, and Dexter. I have two episodes of In Plain Sight waiting on the DVR.....it looks like a great series. As for other things, I got a Wii in February and I am a Wii fanatic. I have tons of games: Wii Sports, Wii Fit, MarioKart, Big Brain Academy, We Ski, Bully, Wii Play, DDR, CSI, And Then There Were None, Boogie, and Winter Sports. If any of you are Wii folks out there, hit me up with your friend's codes and I'll send you mine (also any codes for games so we can play against each other!). Keep in mind with the messenging feature that my b/f does look at them.

Anyhow, that's what I've got for now. Later all.

Oh- this past weekend I completed a two day, 150 mile, bicycle event to benefit diabetes research.....and if anyone is a Weather Channel fanatic like my parents, you'd know that it was over 100 degrees both days......and yet, according to WiiFit, I'm still WiiFat!!!!

alright, so here's a question for all of you out there in f-list land......

1. Do you own a DVD recorder (connected to a TV, not a computer)?
2. What brand is it?
3. Does it work more often than it doesn't?

okay, i've been absent. anyhow.....

so, isn't Fergie (as in Fergalicious) british? and if so, why does she sing about remembering when she had a mustang, as if she were a white trash american girl at one point. (no offense to mustang owners, its just what her video implies). i don't get it. and yes, i'm a loser for sitting here watching vh1 top 20.

so, in addition to finishing the monumental task of cleaning my house today, i watched the thursday night tv on my dvr (except scrubs which is still downloading......stupid slow torrents!). i was blabbering like a stupid little girl for the last 10 minutes of grey's anatomy. god......yes, i admit i watch it (it almost seems like a dirty habit) but for it to reduce me to tears...........i mean, come on!!!

so......what about you guys? am i the only idiot that crys over tv shows? er had done it a handful of times and the 'butterflied' episode of csi totally got me......hell, even scrubs has left me in tears.....but i have much more respect for the artful crafting of those moments than that of GA anyhow.

yeah, i'm a freak!

The entire 1st season of the Drew Carey Show will be released on DVD on April 24th. According to the article there will be a retrospective documentary and a gag reel!

On another note, did anyone else watch the Scrubs musical last week? I'm sitting here watching it again....it was brilliant!

okay, for those of you who know me outside of LJ, you know that i am totally and completely a morning person and i tend to fall asleep on the couch at stupid times like 8:30 at night......

anyhow, so i'm off clinics this week, which already screws up my schedule, but add to that that i got called in at 11:30 pm sunday night and didn't get home until 4:30 am monday morning.....therefore i slept until 11:30 am monday and was up until after midnight last night......then slept until 9:30 am today.......and yet, what do i have to show for it.......not a damn thing!

so, although most of you don't know this week's biography prompt yet, i do, and i think i'm going to write a little present to clay for it........(and a challenge for myself!) stay tuned!

Okay, who changed the background to the wl_fanfic community? Not that it doesn't look nice and all, but it was quite a shock when I signed on this morning and it was completely different....all gradient-strip like......

Also, I have what will probably be a really nice idea for this weeks 'Biography' but I haven't seen the movie in awhile and so it would require me to sit down for two hours and watch it FIRST before I could even begin to write. (Which would probably leave me sobbing for another two hours, effectively preventing any productive writing or anything else!)

Hmmm.....

holy crap batman! it actually snowed in raleigh for only the second time in the three years i've lived here. not alot, mind you, but a light and cute covering that inspired me to take pictures of my dogs frolicking in it and to blow off the hour of so of work i was supposed to go to this morning before my dentist appointment. so now here i sit, needing to be at the dentist in just a little over an hour, scheming as to how to blow off the rest of the day's worth of work as well.........
